Hired Connor for 2 back to back small mouth trips. We vacation with another family every summer, this year we sent the dads on one trip, they caught and released 32 smallies, next trip was for the sons , they caught and released 35… both groups had a great time! Connor took great care of them and accommodated the full range of their skill levels (two are competitive fisherman in Texas (father and son) other 3 are recreational fishermen). Personal best smallies were caught by 4 out of the 5 fishermen!! So glad we found him!!! They all made some great memories over the last two days!

Had a great time with Connor over two days of fishing. Connor is courteous, patient and professional….plus, he put us on fish! 40 smallies and 4 nice pike kept us busy and we really enjoyed being on the water with Connor. Will definitely be back on Connor’s boat next time we’re in Copper country.

I booked a smallmouth trip with Connor back in April for a July trip. He is an excellent communicator on rates, where to meet and all the details. I had one of the best fishing days of my life! In a 4 hour trip we caught 29 Smallmouth bass, 15 rock bass (they don’t count but fighters none the less!) and one nice “unexpected” walleye for this time of year. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to be around. He is very focused and works hard to put you on the fish. Boat and equipment were flawless. I will fish with this man every time I visit the UP. Looking forward to the next time!

Awesome day on the lake, Thanks to Conner!! He knows what it takes to catch Small Mouth Bass! 24 to be exact…. Several 17-19”. Definitely will be using his guide service again!!

We had a blast! Caught 24 large mouth bass in four hours. Connor put us right on top of the fish. We didn’t even have time to sit down. Highly recommend Connor Baccus Guide Service!!

This summer my dad and I found Connor on a trip to Michigan. He was super nice to talk with, super knowledgeable about both smallmouth and the local waters, and really good at what he did. We ended up walking away with a bunch of smallmouth, 2 pbs, and lots of knowledge for the future. Would highly recommend Connor to anybody looking to kill it on the water.

This guy right here is THE MAN. Not only is he an amazing person but he can put people on fish like no other! I went with him for largemouth and we killed them catching 17 and my PB. The next day we went for smallies catching 26 and again, my PB. Gotta hook up with him for a trip it is well worth it!!

My husband, Fred booked a fall fishing trip with Conner and he was not disappointed. They caught many species, and some really nice small mouth bass, pike, blue gill and rock bass. Fred said it was one of the best fishing days he’s had. They fished Lake Linden in the Keweenaw. He would highly recommend booking a trip with this knowledgeable young man. He will definitely book another trip with him.

Two of us went with Connor for a four hour trip and had a great time. We caught over 15 smallies, one trophy over 20 inches. He controlled the boat to put us in great casting positions and taught us new techniques that we will use in other waters. If you are after big bass you can’t go wrong by booking with Connor.

Connor may be young, but he knows the fishing in the Keweenaw region. Knows how to fish, where to fish and what they are hitting. If you are coming to the Keweenaw Peninsula and want a great day of fishing that is reasonably priced...he's your guy.
