We provide all the necessary rods, reels, and tackle, tailored to the specific bass species and fishing conditions you'll encounter. Simply bring your personal items like food, drinks, a small cooler, rain gear, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. A valid Michigan fishing license is required for anglers 17 years of age and older (available at https://www.mdnr-elicense.com/).

We practice 100% catch and release on all bass to ensure the continued health of our fisheries. A $100 deposit secures your booking and is refundable with 48 hours notice or in the event of inclement weather/mechanical issues. Deposits can be made via PayPal, Venmo, or check.

Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass

Smallmouth will be the prominent bass species we target. Known for their spirited fights and aerial displays, they thrive in the deep, rocky lakes of the Keweenaw. We'll target these bronze beauties using a variety of techniques, from topwater presentations to finesse tactics, depending on the season and conditions. We also occasionally target largemouth bass, who often inhabit weedy, structure-rich areas, providing a different angling challenge. We'll adapt our approach to target these powerful fish, utilizing techniques like flipping, pitching, and working surface lures around cover.
